Enyt's Blog

I started to write this blog in 2002 when I was still living in Osaka. This blog is more about my life abroad, my past and my present.

Name:
Location: New York, New York, United States

November is my fav month. I was born in Indonesia 28 years ago and currently living in New York. In the city of no close friends, i spend most of my leisure time at the gym and bookstores and yet i am neither muscular nor a nerd..: ) I take life as it is, i try to get as much as from life experiences while i am still young. I've been given a lot of opportunities to spend my life abroad, my inside curiosity is like a three years old kid. Give me the world, i'll give you my heart. :P

Shopaholic and Sister Posted by Hello

These are the two books that i borrowed from NYPL on saturday. I am a fan of shopaholic's author. I was about to wait until the paperback version is out but lucky me, i found it at the library so now i paid nothing..hehe..
Years ago, i had this book "It Takes A Village" by Hillary Clinton and loved it so much. I am also a fan of her, but not her husband tho..haha...
Anyhoo, i had a good time at the library that day..:P

I watched this kids' movie " shark tale" by myself on sunday. It was a good movie. Man, how lucky kids these days. I never had a chance to watch a movie-cartoon when i was a kid ( well, the world didn't have one, to be exact).
On my way home, i went to Mcdonald's to get sandwiches for my sis and her husband. While waiting for my order, the cashier took another order of a mother and her daughter. So the conversation went like this :
Cashier : " how many pieces of nuggets do you want ?"
Daughter : " 6 pieces "
Cashier : " you want coke, orange juice or apple juice ?"
Daugher : " coke "
Cashier : " boy or girl ?"
Daughter : " Girl "
Cashier : " To go or to stay ?"
Daugher : " To go "
I couldn't help myself smiling. I mean look at children these days. They've got so many selection ! I remember the first time i had mcdonald's, i was in highschool. There are lots of stuffs that at my time i couldn't get, now every 3 years old can get.
