Enyt's Blog

I started to write this blog in 2002 when I was still living in Osaka. This blog is more about my life abroad, my past and my present.

Name:
Location: New York, New York, United States

November is my fav month. I was born in Indonesia 28 years ago and currently living in New York. In the city of no close friends, i spend most of my leisure time at the gym and bookstores and yet i am neither muscular nor a nerd..: ) I take life as it is, i try to get as much as from life experiences while i am still young. I've been given a lot of opportunities to spend my life abroad, my inside curiosity is like a three years old kid. Give me the world, i'll give you my heart. :P

Tomorrow’s Rafting, New Straight Hair and Bored

I can’t tell you yet about the excitement of rafting that I will go on tomorrow but I can tell you that I am excited about it ! It’ll be my first time ( I mean on a real rafting and not something you can try in a wonderland ). There would be 18 persons on this trip ( it’s gonna be fun ) and I just can’t wait for tomorrow. Hah !

Well, I was so bored with my permed hair until this afternoon then I went to straight it back to my normal hair ( even more straighter than ever ). I love it ! Hahaha…

I was sick for almost one week : stuffy nose, coughing, and flu. First the reason could be it’s a flu season here, second it could be my overdoing exercises which forced me to slow down a bit and take a rest !! Well, I followed my heart plus having some healing medicines, now I am almost back to as healthy as before.

I am bored. Mostly bored with my job. Oh yes, the office moved to a new place already yesterday. Here I come again. I start thinking of going out and do some traveling again. Besides, I miss my two friends in Japan !

New Born Niece and I Passed JPT !!

Last Saturday, my first niece was born out of the schedule ( two days ahead doctor’s prediction and one week ahead desired date ). She is a real cute baby, and looks exactly like her father. Since she’s born in March, her parents decided to give her name Maretta.
Tomorrow, along with her mother, they will come back home and stay for 1 month, which means my home will be more crowded with 4 persons!! Haya …!

Another good news is I’ve passed the Japanese Proficiency Test 2nd level with 249 out of 400 scores. Ah, how relieved I am. I was worried I might not get pass as I didn’t do well in grammatical parts. I am so glad ! This year, I will take part in the 1st level, but this time, I will spend more time learning instead of finding any bad excuses not to study it well. Hah !

Some times ago, I talked with my ex about the past and frankly but true, I don’t matter it anymore. There’re no hates, in fact we’re still friends ( which my friends find it weird and un-understandable about my thinking ). The fact is I’d like to keep the friendships between me and those people who once were so close to me. I guess this is the only answer. Who knows what’d happen ?

Once Again

Okay, so I had been missing from my “duty” to get my life “updated” for over than 1 month, and I thought I should start doing it again. Hah !

Henry left for Osaka last night after receiving his visa two days ago. Another friend has gone but I promised that 99.9% I will go to Japan later this year.

What else? Ah, back to my exercises’ programs : still eager to stay healthier and slim my body down, I am doing ( mostly with Ua ) 6 days of aerobic, including taebo and walking in the mornings. I still can keep up with those but frankly, I can’t do much with diet. I love eating, and I think it’s one of the most best excitement in one’s life. But of course, what I am doing now is eating in a moderate way which I think should be fine until now.
One month of hard work seems bringing a good news : have lost 1-2 kgs ( hopefully by the end of October, it will bring more good results ).

Saving money is on my top list at this moment ( until October as planned ). So far so good, even though I think I spend much too. I go out often, mostly to bookstores and do window-shopping. I can’t sit well at home anymore, I like going out. I guess I got this habit from Japan ( I don’t mind about this apart from some complaints from my mom ).
Good thing is I have saved more than I expected. Hah !
