How Wonderful
There are a few good things happened lately. First, good news from Henry and Ken. Henry got his working visa in Japan which means he will stay in Japan for couple more years and Ken, his last thesis was approved and pointed as a representative in University of Kobe. Wow ! Looks like their lives are at the top at this moment. How about mine? hmm, i am not sure, i am just keep living here and of course, as usual, enjoying whereever I live. Yeah !
So what happened at Hollywood Diner last week? as usual, you might find it very strange if you can't hear my boss' voices shouting and yelling around everybody. But surely strange thing did happen. A few days ago, at our very busy hours, at the cashier, one customer suddenly shouting in bad language to my boss, saying that my boss is crazy ( well, according to everybody he is ) and everybody in this restaurant is crazy as well. Then, Spierro, my boss' son wanted to fight him but was divided by his father. Well, it was such a scene ! everybody stopped eating and moving ( even me ! i was pouring coffee to customers when it happened ). I think the incident really shocked my boss as for the next 20 minutes, i didn't his voices around. Hah!
Well, i think standing up ( plus running in busy hours ) 54 hours every week should be paid off. I am thinking about enjoying myself once a week by going to a cafe and get a book. Today, I visited Brassire in 57th street. It's a french restaurant but i had my long-time fav Fettucine with baby clams. I also had hot chocolate cake with caramel ice cream served beautifully as my dessert. Wow...you can't imagine how delicious the cake was ! It has chocolate cream inside and every bite was wonderful! Haha...
Last nite, a co-worker asked me out for a dinner. He's finished at 6pm but said he'd wait for me until 7pm if i want to go out with him. It was really surprising me as i didn't expect he would do so. But of course, i didn't say yes because i hardly know him ( i mean, we work together but hardly speak to each other as my boss doesn't like people speaking at working hours except him, of course ) Anyway, it was a good thing tho...haha...: )
Meanwhile, me and my brother in law decided to get a laptop at home. Yeah !
