Gained Weights, Lousy Food, More Works, Wedding
What a sunny day today ! it's about 10degree and it seems like everybody is going out, including me of course..: ) So i took out my jeans skirt, put it on and as i expected, it's tighter ! ( was it because it had been kept in the suitcase for months? ) But i am sure I've gained weights ! I knew it ! Anyway, i am going to start dieting from tomorrow!
I had my lunch at Olive's Garden at 42nd street today. It's one of the famous Italian restaurants here ( alright, so i love italian, i love fettuccine ) and as usual, i ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. But tell you what, i was really disappointed because it's a plain fettuccine and tasteless too ! I couldn't believe that place called famous ! The worst was it's bloodly expensive ! I don't think i'd ever go there again !
Yesterday, i had a small meeting with my boss,Peter and one marketing consultant Shelly. We talked about how to make the system in this company works ( the adminstration is really in mess, no one took care of it ) And now i've got more works to do than ever! ( i am not complaining tho, afterall, i want to learn everything i can take ). Somehow i am grateful that my previous working experiences aren't a waste at all. Hah !
Next week, we will participate in national expo at Las Vegas. I was supposed to go with my boss ( was really happy because i've never been vegas ) but because before i joined in this company, my boss had bought the flight ticket for the ex before me and now the ticket can't be cancelled, i can't go ! Sigh! But anyway, there are still many expos coming soon and i'll get my chance. You see, that's one of the best things working here, i've got plenty of opportunities going to other cities. Yeah !
I've got a good news early this week. Sanyong and Annie is getting married this April 3 , and they invited me to go over to Toronto for the wedding. How much i wish i could go! The thing is i have to apply for canadian visa and it's almost impossible applying tourist visa for another country in USA ( unless my status of visa here isn't B1/B2 ) not to mention i am just working and probably isn't a good time to take a leave. But honestly, I really want to go, i miss them ! I'll see what i can do.
I just realized that i've been away from home for almost 3 months. I miss my family and friends back there especially my nephew Derren (once he asked me whether i want to back to home ), ohhh...he's a sweet little kid (but really naughty ! ).
I love walking here. NYC is the best place for walking around ( compared to places that i've been visited before). Since i am short ( but average in my country ), i always feel so little when i am walking around. It's a funny feeling but i am enjoying it perfectly. ^.^
