The Dream World of a Shopaholic
That is the title of the newest book i bought last week and I have finished reading it. I usually wouldn't buy this kind of book, as I thought i'd never become a shopaholic in my whole life. Well then, as usual, life is unpredicted. Now I got the reason to get the book and try to find a way out of my latest hobby : Shopping. So, after reading that book, i realized that me and her have one thing in common. We shop whenever we feel happy or sad, whenever good and bad lucks occur in our life. However, I think I am still much better than Rebecca Blomwood, the shopaholic in it. At least that I still pay my credit cards' bills on time, and not sounding to showoff, I still have some left for my saving. I just have to keep the balance of my income and expenditures. In the end, I don't think that book have any impact.
It seems like my latest hobby affecting my good friend, Ua. She shops much now ( we actually have same tastes in clothings, so you can't blame me all for that ). Just like today, after going to one of my friend's new opening boutique, we went straight to a shopping mall looking for a blazer for myself. I need it as now i am officially become part of the Event Organizer "La Raine". Previously, I always borrowed from a friend, so I think it's the time I need one for myself. The hunting almost let me down ( we couldn't find a good one in the beginning ) until we finished our Starbuck's time and hit the clothing floor once again. I got one piece from Zooc and it has 50% off ( it's the mid-year's sale ). Perfect for my budget. Feeling relieved and happy, we ended up strolling around and guess what. Ua who didn't have any plan to buy anything, had to buy two new pants ! And she keeps blaming on me ( even though she must admit the pants suit her very good ).
But frankly, shopping and eating out ( plus traveling ) are three of the most wonderful things a human should have. I mean what's the point of having much money but you don't know how to use it ? Of course that it should have some limits and you can control your money. I shop and save, isn't it great ?
Okay, now let's stop talking about shopping. At the boutique today, I met old friends again. One of them called last night and I was pretty surprised to see the appearance of him. He used to be called " Nobita ", the boy in Doraemon. Today, he appeared as a trendy guy and loves talking. Another one that I met was a friend when I was still in junior high school. I was surprised because he actually knows the other friends from my high school. I was even more surprised that he actually remembers my nickname and full name as well ( as for me, I didn't remember his at all, what a friend I was ! ) So, we talked pretty much and yes, we had great times today.
Another thing is I will have three weddings for this month, two on sundays and one in saturday. It's good that I will have quite a bit of extramoney ! Honestly, compared to the long time for each event ( have to stand by from 4pm if the wedding is on 7pm until the end, which usually takes around 6 hours ), the money isn't worthwhile. But I joined in it isn't for the money, it's for the excitement of meeting new people and organizing things. They're just good and fun experiences, aren't they ?
