Golden Week
Today is the last day of Golden week's holiday. The holiday started from 3rd to 6th, but some companies/schools already started from 29th to 6th. So, instead of going anywhere ( I can't, no enough money to spend on travelling yet), I worked 32 hours at the ramen ya san last week.
Well, I have one partner from Peking for my wednesday and thursday shifts and one partner from Fushun for my sunday shift. This guy from Fushun is a really nice person, but I have to complain about him in one thing. He is too slow !!! OK, I am not saying that I am better than him, afterall, he has been working there for 2 years, so definitely he is my senior, but later i found out that Henry also complained about his slowness ( you see, it's not my own opinion). Actually, the ramen ya san is kind of restaurant which serves fast, but he's too slow in adding the ingredients, and let the customers waiting! In this case, I am definitely much much faster than him. Somehow, when he's doing the ramen, i'd better not look, and just take care of the cashier. Sigh.
I think the colored contactlenses have become popular here. Yesterday, i saw many girls wearing brown and blue contact lenses. I don't really know about the japanese fashion here (not really care about it, actually). Some I like to see, some I think is so weird. Blame me, i'm not a good fashion follower. Hah !
I didn't see Ken often for the last 2 weeks, he's busy with his presentations and I was busy with works. So on friday and saturday, finally we met and he spent the weekend at my home. Today, is my turn to visit him and we plan to cook the pisang goreng (fried banana) because last time we saw a tv program about banana and it reminded of us of that pisang goreng. Hehe.
